Socially responsible investment (SRI) is gaining in popularity. For Mouvement Desjardins and its Partner Ethical Funds, SRI entails using shareholder engagement as a change mechanism towards more sustainable environmental, social and governance business practices. Rosalie Vendette and Bob Walker will discuss how SRI products can both satisfy the needs of investors as well as contribute to sustainable development.

Biography:

Based in Vancouver, Bob Walker is the Vice President of Northwest & Ethical Investments and was the Executive Director of the Canadian Association for Social Responsible Investment (SIO). Rosalie Vendette is a financial advisor in responsible investment with Mouvement Desjardins. She has been working in responsible investment for more than 6 years.
