Biotop: a sustainable technology, a 100 % recyclable material!
The speakers, Marc-André Valiquette and Yves Perrier allowed us to travel during their conference on Biotop’s technology: history, advantages, growth potential as well as their innovative business model. Resulting from 15 years of scientific research, this technology offers the opportunity to grow a large diversity of plants and vegetables on your own balcony or on a company roof. Beyond its high performance, weight, cost and efficient management of water, Biotop is also a wonderful example of a corporate social project: The harvest can be offered to community organizations Instigation of a common vision – social awareness - among employees. Organization will benefit from this corporate citizenship. Overall, Biotop could be a means to ensure food security among persons and communities. Biotop chose to distribute its product using a grassroots network of users promoting the product in their own networks.
