Ever since it has had the resources to follow its dreams and to present shows around the world, Cirque du Soleil has chosen to be involved in communities, and more particularly with youth at risk. In imagining the world of tomorrow, Cirque du Soleil now turned its attention to more global issues such as the fight against poverty. In cooperation with its partners, Cirque du Soleil is involved in nearly 80 communities worldwide, in some 20 countries spanning five continents.

Our speaker, Sherazad Adib will present Cirque du Soleil's Global Citizenship approach

From 17:30 to 18:00, a guide from the Museum will offer Catalethique a guided tour of the Inspiria a collection of jewellery by the Maison Boucheron inspired by Cirque du Soleil shows.

 

Biography:
Sherazad has been a corporate social responsibility (CSR) advisor to the Cirque since 2007 with a special focus on sustainable consumption and sustainable development issues. She have been working in CSR for more than 10 years. Before working for the Cirque, she had CSR related functions for Bell Canada and Groupe Investissement Responsable. Sherazad has a master in Management from Hautes Études Commerciales as well as a master in Sociology of work from Université de Montréal.
