Chantal Beaudoin, 6@8 Cocktail Coordinator
Chantal graduated in international business from the John Molson School
of Business in 2005 and since then has been working for Concordia
University as the Environmental and R4 program
Coordinator (rethink, reduce, reuse, recycle). Chantal is responsible
for implementing a large scale composting system as well as expand the
current recycling services and infrastructure. Chantal participated in
the production of the Material Chapter of the Concordia Campus
Sustainability Assessment 2003 , was Finance Coordinator from 2002 to
2005 of Sustainable Concordia and since then, has continued to be an active member of the group. Chantal is co-founder of the Recto-Verso Paper campaign and is co-founder of the 2005 Sustainable Business Conference.

Arié Moyal, Communications Director
Arié Moyal is a corporate social responsibility and
sustainability professional and he has contributed to projects
addressing a variety of issues such as
climate change, sustainable buildings, adolescent health and
environmental communication. His education, which includes a BA in
psychology from York University, has touched on a
variety of areas including mass communications, marketing and
languages, of which he speaks 5 fluently. He also has experience in
financial services and brand identity management.

Brenda Plant, President
Brenda is cofounder and codirector of ethiquette Inc.,
an information and strategic consulting service on socially and
environmentally responsible products and services. Brenda has a Masters
of Science in International Management from the HEC Montreal. Her
expertise also comes from 6 years of experience in advocacy work in the
area of social law, and more that 6 years experience in the field of corporate social responsibility and socially responsible investing.

Juliette Patterson, Membership
Juliette Patterson has an architecture degree from McGill University
and a landscape architecture master’s degree from Harvard
University. She is co-founder of Catalyse Urbaine,
an architecture and landscape architecture practice dedicated to
bringing nature into the city and creating poetic space. Projects
range from the construction of green roofs to the restoration of
Dhaka’s water canals in Bangladesh.

Olivier Rousseau, Treasurer
Olivier Rousseau was trained as a lawyer and also has a degree in
business financing. After a few years working as a lawyer and
co-manager of a multimedia company, Olivier discovered social economy,
and chose to dedicate himself to this field. He worked for five
years as a financial analyst at the Réseau
d’investissement social du Québec, and is presently an
account director for collective businesses at the Caisse
d’économie solidaire Desjardins.
