- Summary:
-
More and more organizations and businesses work to reduce the negative environmental impacts induced by the events they organize and also look to increase positive local repercussions on society and the local community. Sustainable events can aim to do so with zero waste and carbon neutral objectives but also by taking other social and environmental factors into consideration. This presentation will allow us to find out more about how sustainable events have taken place in Québec and how organizations have acted and brought change internally after having hosted such an event. Concrete examples and testimonials will help us to better understand the advantages of hosting sustainable events and how to improve these events in the future.
