Since its inception, the Technopôle Angus has focused on sustainable development to ensure a better and healthy work and living environment.  Over the years, the Technopôle Angus has distinguished itself  from other business parks and other real estate managers by integrating innovating sustainable development practices.

The Technopôle Angus in a few statements :
- Unique model of industrial reconversion in an urban environment.
- The only business park, designed and management environmentally.
- The only business park managed by a not-for profit organisation.
- The only business park managed by a social economy enterprise that considers the social economy as promising an activity sector than life science or information technology.
- Selected by U.S. Green Building Council among 238 pilot projects  for LEED®-ND (Neighborhood Development).
- First multitenant building LEED® certified in Quebec.
- Locoshop Angus : First industrial ecology building in Canada (2000),as cited by Public Works and Governmental Services Canada.
- 550 000 square feet of environmental space, 10 buildings, 1250 workers.

Technopôle Angus, as a promoter and real estate manager, has taken upon itself to offer the employees of the tenants efficient environmental services and means.
All the ecological actions put forth by the Technopole, such as the construction and management of the buildings, the waste management and the sustainable transportation plan, demonstrate the determination of the promoters to reduce their ecological footprint.

However, the penetration and awareness among its tenants is a continuons challenge. There is a limit to what a real estate promoter can impose to its tenants. This is the reflexion that we propose to Cataléthique's group of visitors.
