Each summer Cataléthique leaves the confines of the cafe and
organizes an outside activity. This year do a walking guided tour of a few of the “Living Parks” and green alleys of the Centre-Sud borough. To celebrate a year of Catalethique conferences and activities we will enjoy a cocktail in Living Park Claude Melancon.
An horticultursit and a project coordinator from the eco-quartier Saint-Jacques will present the project of revitalising a number of small parks (and alleys) in the Centre-Sud borough by the action of its citizens. Since 2002, the Eco-quartier has been working with borough citizens to develop, maintain and enliven these small green spaces enclosed in residential streets.
Details for the walking tour:
* Visit starting at 18:00 at the éco-quartier Saint-Jacques at 2200 Visitation (corner of Ontario)
* Eco-quartier staff will guide us to a few parks, some composting systems and a few green alleys.
* The visit will last 2 hours
* The end of the visit will be at Claude Melancon Park (St-Christophe street between Ontario and Sherbrooke)

* Cocktail-visit from 20:00 in the Claude Melancon Park (St-Christophe street between Ontario and Sherbrooke)
* Les boissons et quelques grignotines seront offerts par Cataléthique
* A few drinks and nibbles with be offered by Cataléthique
Logistics:
* The activity is limited to 25 people
* Preference will be given to current members of Catalethique, then
to future members and finally to non-members
* Participation fees include the cost of the visit to the Eco-Quartier
and a few drinks and nibbles on the roof
