Frédéric is general director at SODER and Pousses Urbaines as well as president of the éco-quartiers groupings. After having spent several years at various positions at the media firm Bertelsmann, Frédéric decided to put his background in engineering and finance to work in environment and sustainable development.
In her former life, Elaine worked as an investment advisor during twenty-five years. She is now volunteering at CHSLD Louvain, a citizen member of the Comité de Développement Durable d'Ahuntsic Cartierville as well as a Reiki practitioner.
Lorène graduated with a Master's Degree in International Business from a leading French international business school in Paris, supplemented by a Masterès Degree in Management of Sustainable Development at HEC Montreal. Lorène is currently a management coordinator at a company managing commercial properties. Additionally, she is volunteering at several organizations active in sustainable development, such as the Consortium Evolution. She aims at collaborating with key stakeholders to achieve cleaner technologies, eco-efficient processes, biodiversity conservation and a sustainable as well as socially fair and environmental development.
Jean-Philippe Boutin is the Director of Recycling and Environment for the Yellow Pages Group. He received Master's level training in Environmental Management and Policy at the International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics in Sweden. Jean-Philippe is back from a stay in Honduras as an international collaborator supporting a reforestation carbon offset project. In his previous career, he relied on his engineering bachelor and his Master's Degree in technology management to help launch the Cyberjeunes NetCorps program. He has also worked as an IT manager for international developing organizations.
Forward-thinking and values-driven, Dimitar is an IT and project coordination specialist with experience in client relationship management and administration. Passionate about sustainable development and project management, he focuses on bringing value to all stakeholders with integrity and by getting the right people to do the right thing at the right time. His credo: deliver win-win results with a triple bottom line: people, planet, profit.
Claudine is an Assistant Professor at the John Molson School of Business, Concordia University, where she researches topics related to corporate governance and financial reporting. Claudine has graduated with a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Rochester, NY (USA) and a Master's Degree in Finance from the Université de Lausanne (Switzerland).
Suite à un Bacc en Design industriel à l’Université de Montréal, Véronique a œuvré dans le milieu des arts interactifs à la Société des arts technologiques (SAT), participant au développement de systèmes de communication et de diffusion sur les réseaux larges bandes pour connecter les communautés isolées. C'est au cours d'un long voyage autour du Monde qu'elle participera à des projets communautaires en Océanie, se découvrant ainsi une réelle passion pour le développement durable. Véronique travaille actuellement au sein de l'équipe de conception et de production chez Aquaovo, une entreprise québécoise proposant des solutions de filtration d'eau écologiques et durables.
Lauren a été diplômée d'un DESS Gestion du développement durable aux HÉC de Montréal en 2010. Elle est également titulaire d'une maîtrise en géographie environnementale réalisée à l'UdeM en 2011 sur une étude portant sur les impacts économiques, socioculturels et biophysiques de l'écotourisme ainsi que l'intégration de la participation des parties prenantes au projet. Durant ses études, Lauren a réalisé un stage en tant que consultante chez Optim Ressources et participé à l'organisation de la conférence internationale sur la diversité biologique et culturelle (initiée par la Chaire d’ethnoécologie et de conservation de la biodiversité, la CDB, l’UNESCO et le PNUE). Elle a ensuite été webmestre-journaliste chez GaïaPresse et est actuellement consultante au C.E.S.E.
